Harold Ramis, in loving memory

This is a tribute to the great Director, writer and actor Harold Ramis who unfortunately passed away on Monday 24, at age 69.

Harold Ramis was admired and beloved by many movie fans
as an actor, he is best remembered as Egon, from “Ghostbusters”.
As a writer and Director he is admired by many with his masterpiece “Groundhog Day”.
Harold Ramis also directed National Lampoons Vacation, Caddyshack, Analyze This, Analyze That and Multiplicity.
I must say that with the death of Harold Ramis, a little bit of my childhood died today. I was born in the 80’s and I grew up  with movies like Ghostbusters, National Lampoons Vacation and Groundhog Day.
Egon Spengler was part of my childhood.  Like many people around the world, I had lots of fun and joy with Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II.
As one of his many fans said, he gave joy and laughter to untold millions.
I am devastated, first Philip Seymour Hoffman, later Shirley Temple and now Harold Ramis.
Harold Ramis and his works, both as an actor and Director (also as a writer) will live forever in millions of fans.
I consider “Groundhog Day” to be his major Masterpiece.
Rest in peace. Harold Ramis.
We will never forget you.
